This new 6th Edition of the Pearl Buying Guide has major updates on new types of pearls and jewelry styles, extended chapters on natural pearls and unique pearl jewelry with colored gems, and 186 new color photos of pearls and pearl jewelry. The total number of photos is 364 in addition to several charts and diagrams.
Although technical data is included to aid gemologists in detecting treatments and distinguishing between natural and cultured pearls, the easy reading style and numerous photos make this a customer-friendly book.

SHIPPING
Your package will be processed using the selected shipping method, typically within 1-2 business days of payment receipt and are shipped cia an uninsured express courier service with tracking.
If you prefer insured delivery, the cost will be 1% of the purchase value.
In case you prefer delivery with your own courier, please indicate your account number for GLS and DHL, or wait for packaging details if using other carriers, please contact us before selecting this option. Shippin fees include handling and packaging charges. Trasport costs vary based on the actual or volumetric weght of the purchased items.
Please purchase the required items into one order. It’s not always possible for us to group two or more different orders, therefore shipping costs will be charged to each of them. Your package will be sent at your own risk, though special care is taken when packaging fragile items. Shipment insurance is available upon request.
Packages and boxes are adequately sized for protecting the purchased items.
Please note! Gemmarum will send the purchased products/instruments to the delivery address provided by the buyer at the time of purchase. In case of wrong delivery address or absence of people, delivery and trasport costs will be borne by the buyer. If the goods are returned to the seller's warehouses for the above reasons, the item can either be re-shipped at the customer's expense, or the amount paid will be refunded, less any expenses incurred by the seller.
Art. 1 RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (ART. 54-BIS Italian Consumer Code)
Art. 1.1 Cooling-off period
The Consumer has the right to withdraw from this contract, without providing any reason and without incurring any penalty, within a period of 14 (fourteen) days. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which the Consumer, or a third party other than the carrier and designated by the Consumer, acquires physical possession of the goods.
Art. 2 Digital methods for exercising the right of withdrawal (Art. 54-bis of the Italian Consumer Code)
In accordance with applicable regulations, the Consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal in a fully digital and immediate manner using the dedicated function available on the Site. Consumer shall:
• Access the "Exercise Right of Withdrawal / Cancel Contract" section [ ];
• Fill out the guided digital form by entering your first name, surname, order identifier (Order ID), and contact details;
• Click the submit button and confirm your decision on the subsequent summary screen (double confirmation).
Following the digital submission, the Seller (Gemmarum Lapidator Srl) will immediately send the Consumer confirmation of receipt of the request on a durable medium (via e-mail), containing the exact date and time the right of withdrawal was exercised.
Art. 3 Alternative methods of withdrawal
The Consumer retains the right to exercise the right of withdrawal by means of any other unequivocal statement sent to the Seller (for example, via registered mail with return receipt [Gemmarum Lapidator Srl - Loc. Podera 13 - 38033 CAVALESE (TN)] or certified email [PEC] to the address [gemmarumlapidator@legalmail.it]), or by using the model withdrawal form in paper format set out in Annex I, Part B of the Consumer Code.
Art. 4 Effects of withdrawal and Refund
In the event of withdrawal, all payments made by the Consumer to the Seller (Gemmarum Lapidator Srl) will be refunded, including delivery costs (with the exception of supplementary costs resulting from the choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered), without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which the Seller is informed of the decision to withdraw.
Art. 4.1 Refund following return
After the item has been returned, receipt and processing may take up to 14 days. In some cases, the process may take longer.
The refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the initial transaction, unless the Consumer has expressly agreed otherwise.
Art. 5 Return of goods
The Consumer is required to send the goods back or deliver them to [Gemmarum Lapidator Srl - Loc. Podera n. 13 - 38033 CAVALESE (TN)] without undue delay and, in any event, within 14 days from the day on which they communicated their withdrawal from this contract. The direct costs of returning the goods shall be borne exclusively by the Consumer. The Consumer is liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Art. 5.1. Return of purchased item(s)
The customer must provide suitable packaging.
5.1.1 The Buyer is required to ship the goods back or deliver them to [Gemmarum Lapidator Srl - Loc. Podera n. 13 - 38033 Cavalese (TN)]; the goods must be returned intact—AT THE BUYER'S EXPENSE AND RESPONSIBILITY—in their original packaging, complete with all parts and the accompanying tax documentation.
5.1.2 The Buyer is required to send back the goods or hand them over without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which they communicated their withdrawal from the contract.
5.1.3 The Buyer is liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling of the goods other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
Art. 6 Personalized/Customized items
6.1 Personalized items include all items configured, customized, or marked upon request—for example, with text, designs, engravings, stamps, prints, or carvings. Custom-made or clearly personalized items are non-returnable, but may be refunded or replaced if found to be damaged.
6.2 The right of withdrawal shall not apply if Gemmarum’s services and products fall under the categories specified in Art. 59 of Legislative Decree 206/2005.
