Lens and Magnification

The iQ ESD is equipped with a high-quality optical lens with a diameter of 17.5 cm, providing a wide field of view and distortion-free images. In addition to the standard 3-diopter magnification (1.75x), an additional 12-diopter (4x) swing-arm lens is included for tasks requiring greater detail.

Illumination (Daylight + UV-A)

The daylight LEDs emit light at 6,000 K with CRI 95+, ensuring excellent color rendering — ideal when it is essential to see the true colors of materials. The luminous output measured at 15 cm offers two intensity levels: 6,000 lux (max) and 4,000 lux (min), selectable to adapt the lighting to the task. Integrated 365 nm UV-A LEDs allow specific inspections such as coating verification, solder joint inspection, and detection of defects not visible under normal light.

Mechanics and Positioning

The lamp features very robust joints and a carbon-fibre head that maintains its position without the need for locking screws. The system uses free-motion joints, designed to remain stable at any angle. The arm reach extends up to 118 cm, allowing precise positioning of the lens over large work areas.

Power Consumption and Supply

Total consumption is 12 W, providing high luminous efficiency. The electrical specifications ensure low energy consumption and long operating life. The power cable length is 2 m.
